Our Egg Carton Easter Egg Island takes inspiration from Easter Island and puts an eggy spin on it.
We repurposed old egg cartons, stacked the domes to create varying heights, and painted Easter egg mountains. Check it out below.

What You'll Need
Construction Paper: Green, Blue
Craft Paints
Paint Brushes & Rinse Water
Egg Carton Domes
Tacky Glue
Green, Tan, & Pink Colored Pencils
Scissors
The Steps
We want to see your craft! Click on PHOTO SUBMISSION and submit
EGG MOUNTAINS
Add glue between the domes, covering the sides before pressing the dome on top. Repeat to increase the height.
Paint the domes and create Easter egg designs.
ISLAND
With your green pencil draw a shape big enough for your mountains on the green paper and cut it out.
Glue the island onto the horizontal blue paper and color the sand around the island.
Lastly, glue your mountains, write EASTER ISLAND or EASTER EGG ISLAND, and let it dry for about 15 minutes.
