Hi friends,
Let’s make a Christmas fireplace- warm, welcoming, and decorated for the holidays.
We kept ours simple, but you could add a wreath, sign, or picture frame above the fireplace and even some gifts around the fireplace. Check out our Christmas fireplace below.

FIREPLACE
Turn your tan paper horizontally, fold it in half, then cut a rectangle (red or white paper) the width of 1 craft stick.
Use 1 craft stick on top and 2 on the side as guides for the fireplace, then use 1 craft stick to help you draw in the lines across and in between the bricks.
MANTLE
Glue the fireplace near the bottom, leaving a gap for the hearth and gifts if you choose.
Glue 2 crafts sticks to each other and flat above the fireplace, and the last one on its side.
Fold a bit of green paper, draw a leaf, and cut it out. Repeat to create plenty of greenery for the mantle garland.
FIRE + HEARTH
Cut the tissue paper into small triangles and roll or gather the shorter ends to create flames.
Add plenty of glue 2/3 down from the mantle and add the flames and twigs.
Fold a strip of matching paper and glue at the bottom of the fireplace for the hearth.
DETAILS
Glue the greenery onto the mantle.
Cut out and glue stockings to the mantle.
Optional: Draw gifts, a sign, a wreath, or a framed drawing.
Let everything dry 30 -60 minutes.
That’s it!
Happy crafting
