Hi friends,
Today we’re showing you how to make a cute holiday dress with construction paper, colored pencils, and glue.
Our dress has a rounded collar, long sleeves, a festive bow, and a pleated skirt. Add Christmas stickers or designs for an even more decorative look. Check it out below.

TOP
Turn your black paper horizontally, fold 1/3 section over, and cut at the fold(save for later).
Turn your paper vertically, fold 2 inches from the side of the black paper, and cut(save for later).
Slightly fold your black square and cut the corners at an angle(waist).
4. Fold the 1/3 section of paper into a narrow strip, cut it in half, and glue the folded ends(sleeves and cuffs).
5. Angle the sleeves behind the wide part of the shirt and glue.
6. Cut a rounded collar from the white paper and glue it to the center neck area.
BOTTOM
Turn your red paper vertically, fold a 1.5-inch strip at the bottom, and cut the strip.
Fold the red strip in half, draw a shoe, and cut both shoes out. Optionally, color in the shoes or decorate them, then set them aside.
Slightly fold your red vertical paper and cut the corners at an angle.
4. Create accordion folds, either angled(green) or straight(red), then glue the shoes under the wider part of the skirt.
5. Fold the leftover black strip into a narrow piece and glue it over the narrow part of the skirt
6. Glue the skirt over the narrow part of the top, wrapping the edges around the back.
The green dress has angled folds on the left and straight ones on the right.
BOW
Cut a rectangle from the white paper and a small strip, fold the larger paper in half, draw one side of the bow, and cut it out.
Design your bow and the strip how you’d like, glue the strip around the center of the bow, and then glue it onto the dress.
That’s it!
Happy crafting
