Hi friends,
We’re back with another Sonic The Hedgehog craft! These are easy-to-make treat/goody bags using the Sonic golden rings as inspiration. The bags are perfect as party treats, parting gifts, or a class celebration. In our case, getting to celebrate Micah’s January birthday with his classmates, after returning from winter break.
Print the labels and mini coloring pages for your own fun twist on the Golden Ring. Once the bags are assembled, everything is nicely contained and pre-portioned for each child. Check out the Sonic The Hedgehog: Golden Ring treat bags below.

The Steps
PREP
Cut strips of wax or parchment paper, long/wide enough to cover the back of the *donut fully and part of the front, then set aside.
Cut the labels and coloring sheets.
*Cake donuts work best and can be assembled in advance. Glazed/sugar donuts are a little messier, but work great as long as they’re assembled on the day of the event.
3. Fold the labels in half and write your child’s name and age on the line:
____________’s __rd/th example: Micah’s 9th
4. Fold the napkins in half.
ASSEMBLE
Flatten the juice pouch so it’ll lay evenly and place it inside the bag, with the bottom facing away from you.
2. Stack a napkin, an upside-down coloring sheet, and a wrapped donut on top before placing them into the bag.
3. Lift the bag opening, overlap the edges a bit, and then staple a label on to seal the bag. Repeat with the rest of the donuts.
That’s it!
The kids get a treat, a drink, and a mini activity inside each bag.
Happy crafting!
Amanda and Naomi
