Hi friends,
Valentine’s is this week, so we thought we’d “squeeze” in this sweet & zesty scented valentine. Check it out below!

What You'll Need
Green & Orange Construction Papers
Bowl (large enough to cover half the length of the paper)
Pencil
Markers
Hole Punch
Scissors
Glue
String
Orange Zest
The Steps
This is our second citrus valentine and it’s scented too!
Even if you don’t have oranges, orange essential oil blend, or orange extract, these will still be cute. Hang them from the straw of a citrus drink/smoothie or served with a fruit salad and dip, for your family. The backside could even include a personal note, before adding the zest to the front outer edge.
ORANGE
Turn your orange paper horizontally, fold in half, and glue the 2 sides together.
2. Trace your bowl onto the orange paper and cut it out.
3. Draw 1-2 leaves in *green and/or stem, cut out.
*We used 2 greens
4. Glue the leaves/stem.
5. Draw the face in pencil and write the words-“ You’re Sweet & Zesty!” about 1/2 inch from the edge, then trace it with markers.
6. Punch a hole at the top and feed a short string through, knot the ends.
If you’d like to add a personal note, add that to the backside before the next step.
ZEST
1. Grate rind if you have it- 1 orange= 3 valentines (*skip 1 & 2 if no oranges).
2. Add a line of glue around most of the orange and add the zest, pressing down a bit. Let dry 15 - 20 min.
That’s it!
*IF using essential oil or extract- apply with a thin brush around the edge.
These smell yummy!!
Happy crafting and Happy Valentine’s!
Amanda and Naomi!
