Last Day Of School Ladybug Card

Hi friends,

We have an adorable end-of-year ladybug card for those amazing teachers.

I recently made a similar card for my son’s teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week. Now we’re sharing this last-day-of-school version with you. You can use any insect stickers you like or opt for ladybugs. Check out this last day of school ladybug card below.

The Steps

PREP

  1. Glue the white paper to the blue one. I love how this Elmer’s glue has disappearing color, it helps us see what areas we’ve missed.

  2. Turn your glued papers horizontally and fold them in half.

COLOR

  1. Use your colored pencils to draw grass and flowers on the bottom of the card.

  2. Add clouds, sun, and birds if you’d like.

PHRASES

  1. On the front of the card write,

    THANK YOU MR/MISS/MS./MRS. __________

    BEFORE YOUR CLASS

WE WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE…

  2. On the inside write,

NOW WE’RE ALL ALIGNED or IN LINE!

  3. Include these writing prompts and drawing section as well,

-My favorite thing about your class:

    -What I learned:

    -My favorite thing about school:

-A drawing of my teacher and I:

  4. Have your child write their responses or help them fill it in.

Optional- As a memento, photocopy the inside of the completed card and glue it to a 2nd blue paper. Repeat the coloring steps

  5. On the back of the card leave your child’s teacher a note.

For the memento, leave your child a note on the back. Note ideas- What they learned, their age, who their friends were, what they liked about school, a school memory, etc.

STICKERS

  1. Place your stickers in random order on the front of the card and on the inside line up the ladybugs.

Optional- Add a photo of your child next to their drawing, or on the back of the card. Or if possible, a photo of your child and their teacher.

That’s it!

Happy crafting
