Hi friends,
The 4th of July, parades, and all the festivities are almost here! We have a fun craft to make your tables, decor, and backdrops easily festive. It’s perfect for all the patriotic holidays too. Grab a roll of brown craft/packing paper, paints, and all available hands! Check out our Stars & Stripes craft below.

What You'll Need
(1) Whole Roll of Craft Paper
Craft Paints
Brushes
Rinse Bowl or Bucket
Old Towel
The Steps
LARGE STARS
Roll out your paper and work in sections.
Apply paint to your hand, and press it down firmly.
3. Repeat the handprint 4 more times to create a star.
4. Continue making stars in the same color or multiple and create your own design or patterns.
5. Place your brushes on a tray/disposable plate, rinse your hand in between colors, and dry off with the old towel.
SMALL & TINY STARS, CIRCLES & STRIPES
a) SMALL STARS-Paint your knuckles in any color, press firmly on the paper, and repeat for the star shape.
b) TINY STARS- (not shown) Paint 2 knuckles, position the knuckle gaps vertically for the top, horizontally for the sides, and slightly out & down at the bottom.
c) CIRCLES- (shown) Paint 2 knuckles, position the knuckle gaps facing horizontally at the top, vertically on the sides, and horizontally & slightly put at the bottom.
d) STRIPES- Paint your knuckles, press down, and drag away from you. If more paint is needed, repeat the steps right over the stripes.
Let your paint dry for about 10 - 15 minutes and then use as intended.
That’s it!
I completed this on my own as the littles were occupied splashing themselves out back with water haha. Many hands make work light, so get plenty of hands = )
This is going right out onto our back table for our July 4th celebration and I’ll make a similar one for a festive backdrop too.
Happy crafting!
Amanda and Naomi
