Hi friends,
Today we have an easy-to-make, outdoor/indoor heart garland for you! We have a large outdoor area that needs a little love or it’ll stay noticeably boring and uninviting. So I’m always looking for inexpensive ways to include color, create comfort, and keep functionality in this open space. With that in mind, we found these cute heart-shaped cookie trays at the 99 Cents Only Stores that would work great for this space. Check out our super easy outdoor garland below!

What You'll Need
Heart Cookie Trays
Glue Gun(minus the glue stick)
Nylon Rope
Any Colored Pencil or Pen
Napkin
The Steps
Heat your gun up for about 5 minutes.
Decide where to place your 2 holes, press the gun down firmly on the first spot, hold it firmly there for about 20- 30 seconds, then press all the way through.
3. Immediately run your pencil through the hole, push the melted plastic in and smooth the edges by circling it around. If you skip this step, you will end up with jagged edges, seen on the far right of the 4th photo.
4. Wipe the gun tip carefully before proceeding with the second hole.
5. Stack the completed heart directly over the next heart to help with placement, then press the hot gun through each hole for a few seconds. You’ll have 2 small dots.
6. Remove the top heart and continue with steps 2-5 until you you complete each heart.
7. Cut the necessary amount of rope and tie a knot in one end before feeding the rope through from the back to the front. Continue through each hole/heart and tie a knot at the end.
8. Hang outside or inside.
That’s it!
When the season is over, remove the rope and place it on top of the stacked hearts for easy storage.
We added a greenery garland to finish off the look. Not bad for a budget-friendly option.
