Pasta Pumpkins

Hi friends,

We had some AMAZING weather the last few days! The temperature was cooler with subtle breezes, we had falling leaves, and even some rain!!! Fall’s not here yet and we’ve already gotten a preview. Another standard during the fall is pumpkins; big, little, smooth, bumpy, different-colored, or carved! So we’re bringing you orange-painted, pasta-made pumpkins, pasted on paper = ) Check out our noodly pumpkins below!

What You'll Need

  1. White Construction Paper

  2. Glue

  3. Long & Short Pastas

  4. Paint Brush

  5. Craft Paints

  6. Rinse Jar

  7. Table Cover

The Steps

  1. Break the long pasta into small pieces to create blades of grass.

  2. Glue the pieces to the bottom of the page.

3. Paint the grass.

4. Use the glue to create a pumpkin shape and fill it in with glue.

5. Fill in the pumpkin with the short pasta(we used wheat) and add a stem at the top(not shown).

6. Paint the pumpkin orange, leave the stem the natural color or paint, and create some clouds on the page. Let dry for 10 minutes.

That’s it!!

Aren’t these cute?!

Happy crafting!

Amanda and Naomi
