Pool Time Coloring Craft

Hi friends,

Summer break is dwindling down fast. We have just a bit over a week left and we’re scrambling to get school clothes, supplies, and every bit of summer fun squeezed out. So today we’re channeling some pool time with coloring sheets, featuring our Hope Kids, your creativity with color & any added details, and a fuzzy pipe cleaner pool noodle. Check out Hope Kids pool time craft below.

What You'll Need

  1. Hope Girl/Hope Boy Printable

  2. Colored Pencils

  3. Scissors

  4. (2) Pipe Cleaners

  5. Glue

The Steps

  1. Cut your pipe cleaners in half and twist together tightly.

2. Color your Hope Kid and add details to their clothing or keep it simple. Keep the pool noodle uncolored if you’re adding the pipe cleaners.

Below: Micah colored his shirt & leg calves a skin color to represent his body and colored half his pants to create swimming trunks.

3. Color in the rest of the page, adding grass, sky, pool sides, and any other detail to your page.

4. Add glue to the pool noodle on the page and press your twisted pipe cleaners down. Let dry 10-15 min

That’s it

The littles loved coloring these, they colored a few more after too : )

Micah added flip-flops to his Hope Kid and a cute duck floaty.

Matty added a crown to his head, kept his page pretty simple, and asked Micah to draw him a duck floaty too.

I cuffed my Hope Kid’s jeans, added flip-flops, air plugs to the pool inflatables, and pool sides.

Naomi went all out! She shaded beautifully, added the glare from the sun on her pool floats, and other fun details.

Happy crafting!

Amanda and Naomi
