Hi friends,
Today we’re sharing an Orange Ice Pop Prank, with two different ways of completing them, and just in time for April Fool's Day! Both are deceptively orange in color, but their flavors are entirely different. A bite of one orange ice pop will be sweet and taste nothing like orange pops. The other pop will send a shock of sourness into your mouth lol. You get to choose which trick of the senses you’ll use. Check it out below!

What You'll Need
Ice Pop Trays
(3-4) Lemons
Red & Yellow Food Dye
(8) TBSP Water for mixing
(1.5) Cups Water
(8) TSP Sugar
Sm. Mixing Bowl
The Steps
Slice your lemons and squeeze the juice into a small bowl/container.
Add 1 drop of red food dye, 3 drops of yellow, then mix well.
SOUR Pops:
1. Add 1 TBSP of the orange-colored lemon juice to 4 molds(save the extra juice). 2. Add 3 TBSP of water to each of the 4 sour molds and mix. 3. Place the ice pop lids on top.
SWEET Pops:
1. Add 1 TBSP of the orange-colored lemon juice to 4 molds. 2. Add 3 TBSP of water to each of the 4 sour molds, about 1 TSP of sugar in each of the 4 molds, and mix(what we did). OR add 4 TSP of sugar to 12 TBSP water, mix thoroughly, before adding 3 TBSP of the sugar water to the molds of the orange lemon mix. 3. Place the ice pop lids on these sweet pops too. Make sure you remember which are sour/sweet.
Place the ice pops in the freezer for a few hours, after they freeze, run under some warm/hot water to loosen them. Lastly, ask your family if they’d like some “ORANGE” ice pops.
; )
I can’t wait to get a response from my kiddos on April Fool’s Day!
Happy crafting!
