Hi friends,
We have colorful & irresistibly fun, popping-themed valentines for you. Our kids love bubble wrap, so I used that as inspiration. I saved(hid) the wrap from our Christmas deliveries, picked up extra from Dollar Tree, and got to making these popping valentines.
The littles and their pals will get a bit of bubble wrap to pop and pop-themed snacks to enjoy! My kids love the idea and can’t wait to get their hands on them. Check out our popping-themed valentines below.

per 24 valentines:
(4) Construction Papers for bubbles, (6) Construction Papers for sleeves
(2) Poppin' printouts
Bubble Wrap 24in. x 24in.
Scissors
Pencil
Glue & Hot Glue
(1) Round Cutout
Mini Popcorn & Mini Pop Suckers

The Steps
BUBBLES
Trace your circle cutout 6 times onto each of the 4 sheets(any color) and as closely as possible.
Cut off any borders from the 6 circles but do not cut out the circles yet.
3. Face the flat side of the bubble wrap up.
4. Add plenty of liquid glue to the bubble wrap, lay each sheet of circles facing up onto the glue, press gently, and set it aside to dry.
SLEEVE
Fold each of your 6 sheets(any color) into eighths.*UPDATE* While your sheet is facing vertically(long way), place a ++popcorn bag as close to the center line, as a guide.
Add 1- 2 strips of glue to the right of the popcorn bag all the way to the bottom of the sheet, then remove the bag and press the sides together. Check that the popcorn bag fits snuggly before repeating the process.
Cut the 4 sleeves from each of the 6 sheets and place the popcorn bags in each.
Write your child’s name(we did this after with a felt tip pen) on the valentine strips and cut them out.
++Redenbacher popcorn bags are wider, Pop Secret bags are narrower.
BUBBLES
5. Once your bubbles sheets are dry, cut each out.
6. Use hot glue on the back of each bubble and carefully press them as close to the fold on the sleeves.
SLEEVES
5. Working from right to left, add a bit of hot glue to the right of the bubble and place the wording strip (with child's name) there, wrapping the rest of the strip around the bubbles and securing to the back of the sleeve with more glue.
I’m not sure my kinder-age kiddo is ready for Pop Rocks, so I’m going to add mini pop suckers to his valentines. If I can get enough Pop Rocks for my older son’s class, they’ll get that in theirs.
6. Add a mini Pop sucker, Pop Rocks, or other pop candy/snack, small enough to fit with the popcorn.
Optional: Add a heart sticker!
That’s it!
These came out so cute!
Happy crafting!
