Hi friends,
Our first holiday (aka break) since starting school is Labor Day. We’ve had a great start this year, so we’re not eager to escape it, but we do love extra free time lol.
This weekend was a lot cooler and the days seemed less smoky. We happily took our TP rolls outside to craft with and quickly made this festive, star-covered, Labor Day mobile to hang. It’s not weatherproof, but until it starts to rain, it’ll hang out front proudly. Check out our easy mobile below.

What You'll Need
(6) Empty TP Rolls
Craft Paints & Brushes
Star Stamp or Star Stickers
Hole Punch
Twine/String
Branch/Drift Wood
Table Cover/ Newspaper
Optional: Rinse Jar, Paint Tray
The Steps
Pour some paint onto the tray or use right out of the bottle.
Paint 2 rolls in the red, blue, and tan colors.
Set aside to dry.
3. When the rolls are dry, punch 2 holes near the top and across from each other.
4. Cut string for each roll. Ours were about 12 inches.
5. Cut 1 long string or 2 shorter ones to tie to each end of the stick. It depends on where/how you plan to display it.
6. Use a smaller brush to apply white paint to your stamp, stamp each roll multiple times, and let dry.
7. Feed the shorter strings through each hole in the tubes and tie tightly.
8. Lastly, place each tube onto the stick in the same order or alternate colors before hanging up.
That’s it!
Super cute and super cheap haha.
Happy crafting and Happy Labor Day!
