Hi Friends,
We’re bringing you Three Eggy Activities For Easter. You don’t need much, and it will occupy the kids for a while. We have an option for an indoor egg hunt with points (outdoor if weather permits), an egg color hunt (this can go on forever), and lastly, an easy egg coloring page for everyone! Check it out below.
We hope you’re well and making the best of this difficult season. Depending on what the weather or your available space looks like, you’ll need a few activities to keep the kiddos busy, especially if indoors is the only option.

Egg Hunt With Points
Points: 1, 5, 10, & 20(empty egg)
Download and print as many sheets needed (1 sheet= 28 slips).
Cut and fold the points in half.
Place one slip inside each egg and close it.
-The kids can help with this, so mama doesn’t have to do it all.
-An EMPTY egg = 20 points, so keep that in mind.
When it comes to the hunt, write down everyone’s name on a paper first and then tally up their points at the end.
That’s it!
*The winner can choose the next activity, a special treat, pick the next meal, etc.
Egg Color Hunt
Options: Hunt can be timed, Partners are OK, You can switch eggs in rooms to give new search options.
Download and print out enough sheets for each person.
Have enough pencils for each person or partner set.
Adults, place an egg or 2 in different colors or a variety of shades in those colors, in each room, depending on what you have. Each room will have its own eggs in different colors and placed somewhere easily visible.
-ie. pinks room, greens room, orange & blue room, etc.
Write what colors are in each room on the lines.
If the kids are old enough to search on their own, let them go into different rooms to search for that specific egg color and then move onto the other rooms.
Once they find items in those specific colors, they need to write them down under the correct color heading.
That’s it!
*Winners can be assigned but don’t have to. You can make up your own rules.
Easter Egg Coloring
Download and print out sheets.
Use color pencils, crayons, or markers.
Color in. You can add flowers, trees, insects, sun, etc.
Matthias was having fun :)
Micah really got into it too! Naomi’s egg on the left and mine on the right. I traced our cup to make a sun.
Matthias’ coloring wasn’t as dark but it’s there! Naomi was extra creative and created a rainbow egg, added a mound under it some wild flowers, insects and flowering vines.
Micah added cute bunnies and did an awesome job coloring! I had fun adding the layered colors, extra grass and a sun.
We made a few extra too =)
Happy crafting and happy Easter friends!
Amanda and Naomi
