Hi friends,
We combined Groundhog Day and Valentine’s for a cute groundhog Valentine’s prediction.
Choose your child’s favorite candy, a clear or treat bag, add stickers to the cards or in the bag, and then send your child to school with these cute Valentine’s Day cards.

What You'll Need
*Construction Paper: (2) Brown, (4) Green, (1) White
Scissors
Pencil
Markers: Black, Pink, Brown
Glue
Small Googly Eyes
Candy
Snack-Sized Ziploc Bags or Mini Treat Bags
*Makes 32 cards
The Steps
We want to see your craft! Click on PHOTO SUBMISSION and submit
CARD
Fold your green papers into eighths and cut them into 32 cards.
Write MY VALENTINE PREDICTION: at the top of the card
and IT’S GOING TO BE SWEET! at the bottom.
GROUNDHOG
Fold your brown papers into fourths and cut them out(8).
Fold each fourth section into fourths(32), and draw a wide heart with your pencil/brown marker(body), a half dome on top(head), 2 ears, 2 feet, a nose, a smile, and rosy cheeks.
Repeat the steps with each folded fourth section, cut the groundhogs out, and draw everything in.
TEETH & EYES
Cut narrow strips from the white paper and then small sections for the teeth, add a brown line in between.
Glue the eyes and teeth on each groundhog.
ASSEMBLE
Glue the groundhogs to each card and place them into a mini Ziploc or treat bag with candy.
