Hi friends,
School has started for most people, including us, but we’re already looking ahead to day 100! The 100th day of school is typically celebrated with the younger grades and after the 100th day of school/instruction. But, we’re going to celebrate the 100 days since school started(including weekends and holidays) because it counts in my mind, it’s a chance to get another treat, and it gives this mama a pat on the back for making it this far LOL
Check out the “I Sped Through 100 Days” craft below, where your student adds 100 Cheerio tires to their car’s skidmarks.

What You'll Need
White Paper
Small Container
Thinned Out Black Paint
100 Cheerios
Pencil
Paint Brush
Colored Pencils/Markers
Glue
Optional: Cookie Tray, Toy Car
The Steps
TIRES
Spread out your Cheerios on a cookie tray or plate.
With a brush, apply thinned-out black craft paint to the Cheerios.
Let the Cheerio tires dry for 10-15 minutes.
CAR & PHRASE
We traced the round paint bottle for the top of the car and flipped it upside down for the front and back parts of the car.
Add the door, windows, lights, other details, and color.
Write: I Sped Through 100 DAYS OF SCHOOL
And I’m Not Even TIRE-D!
Trace the phrase with colored pencils or markers/pens.
SKIDMARKS & TIRES
You can use a brush to paint the lines or paint the tires of a toy car and create the skidmarks on the white paper. Repeat as many times as you’d like.
Add glue in different areas of the paper and pile the tires on or scatter the tires and add glue to each tire.
Let the paper dry for about 15 minutes.
That’s it!
Matthias’s is on the left, he helped color the car and add the tires.
Have fun celebrating friends!
100 days puts us near the end of November, where I’ll be in line somewhere, getting the kids and myself a treat!
Happy crafting!
