Hi friends,
The kids and I love to decorate our Christmas tree differently each year, sometimes it’s a color scheme, and other times it’s a theme. This year we’re getting inspiration from hubby’s favorite cartoon characters: Charlie Brown & the Peanuts Gang. We don’t have themed ornaments yet, so we’re starting with these! Check out our easy-to-make Snoopy dog house ornaments below.

What You'll Need
For 6 ornaments
Red & Black Felt
Light Colored Paper
Pencil
Scissors
Tacky Glue
Black Fine-Point Sharpie/Felt Tip Pen
Ornament Hooks
The Steps
CUTOUTS
Draw a doghouse outline, and a narrow dome shape, then cut them both out. Ours are about 2.5 inches.
DOGHOUSE
Depending on the size you’d like, fold some felt into thirds.
Cut the felt in half, then each section in half as well (fourths).
3. Place the doghouse cutout over a 1/4 section of red felt, cut around it, and repeat with the rest of the sections. This will create a total of 12 houses.
4. Fold a narrow strip of black felt into thirds, then fold that piece in half. Place the doghouse opening cutout over it and cut around it. This will create 6 openings.
ASSEMBLE
Glue a black cutout to the front of the dog house and then glue those to a second house. Repeat the process.
2. Using your *fine-point sharpie/pen, draw 6-7 lines across the house and the lines on the roof.
3. Make SNOOPY signs on the same paper or a different kind(we used kraft paper), cut out the signs, and glue them onto the front of the houses.
4. Carefully push your hooks through the ornaments.
That’s it!
*Optional: flip the house over and draw the lines on the back.
Happy crafting
