Hi friends,
We have adorable “plush” Christmas cats for you today. They’re easy to make, can be customized to look like your actual pet, and hung up for a cute feline wall. Could you imagine if real kitties came with festive fur? Haha. Ya, I can’t either, but our version lets us create just that- cats in Christmas colors, wearing Christmas collars! Check out our Christmas litter below!

What You'll Need
9-inch or 6-inch Paper Plates
Craft Paints & Brushes
Matching Paper
Glue
Scissors
Christmas Ribbon
Optional: Broom Bristles, Hot Glue,
The Steps
Paint your large or small plates and let them dry about 5 minutes.
2. Paint the facial features: eyes, nose area(not the nose), ears, squiggle or striped markings, and ears.
3. When the nose area has dried a bit, paint the nose and mouth.
4. Paint whiskers or glue on whiskers made from broom bristles.
For a large cat use 1 whole sheet, for a small cat use 1/2 sheet
5. Turn your paper vertically, fold it slightly, and tear bits off from the top center fold toward the side, at an angle. Continue tearing off small bits all the way down the open side and bottom edge to create the illusion of fur.
6. Cut some ribbon and glue it to the upper area of the angled part.
7. Add glue to the top and press the cat face down.
8. Paint the paws and any markings you’d like to add.
That’s it!
Happy crafting!
Amanda and Naomi
