Hi friends,
Today we have cute bat treat bags or gift bags using handprints, for your fall activities and parties. You can easily swap these gift bags with paper lunch bags and trace your little one’s hand so that it’s proportioned better. All you need to do is position your thumb and hand in 1 of 2 ways to get the looks we got. Check out our batty bags below!

What You'll Need
Gift Bag/Lunch Bag
Black, White, or Brown Paper
Pencil
Scissors
Glue
Markers
The Steps
Turn your paper horizontally and fold.
Open Wings
Place your hand up to the top edge and thumb next to the folded line.
Spread your fingers open and fold your thumb inward.
Trace from the outer part of the wrist only, up to the pinky finger, and slightly dipped between the tips of the fingers, then stop.
Trace down the pointer finger and around the thumb, stopping at the thumb knuckle.
Move your hand, draw a rounded body starting from the outer part of the paper, curving towards the paper fold, and adding a slight point at the bottom.
Closed Wings
Place your hand up to the top edge and thumb next to the folded line.
Angle your hand outward a bit, slightly spread your fingers open, and fold your thumb inward.
BOTH Wing Types
Cut out the bat and glue it onto the lower part of the bag.
2. With your markers write: “BATTY 4 TREATS!” or “BATTY FOR TREATS”
That’s it!
You could even use these as gift bags for snack/treat groupings or as a birthday bag with, “BATTY FOR BIRTHDAYS” instead.
Happy crafting!
