Hi friends,
We have such an easy craft this week. As I was walking down the dollar store aisle with the littles, we came across these fuzzy little mitts. I immediately envisioned them as cute creatures or mini monsters. Everything, if not most of the items could be found right in the dollar stores too. The littles didn’t care what I saw in my mind, they were just happy to play with them. Haha. I knew adding a face would just make these mitts all the better. Even more, creating a 2-sided mini mitt monster! The mitts came together so quickly and required very little effort. When we were done making these, the littles were so thrilled with the outcome! We’re already planning to make more so they have one for each hand. Check out our mini mitt monsters below!

Black Felt
Googly Eyes
Glue Gun (adult help necessary)

The Steps
Decide if you’d like a double-sided monster and which side to start with.
My mitt
2. Carefully glue as many eyes as you’d like to 1 side.
3. Cut a small piece of felt, fold over, and cut out 3 triangles. Or create any mouth shape you’d like.
4. Cut any excess felt and open up.
5. You may separate the top and bottom pieces or leave attached, then glue on.
Repeat with the opposite side.
If you have more than 1 mitt continue with those.

Glue the eyes.
Then cut a big U shape from the felt.
Fold the felt in half and cut the center part out.
4. Carefully glue the mouth on.
That’s it!
The opposite side of mine
Eyes glued on, mouth was next.

My mitt- both sides
And now for the mitt testers!
The littles loved these so much. They held up great with their rough play too.
Happy crafting!
